Dear Gurminder Ahluwalia

I have great pleasure in introducing myself to you as Alan ( Ellalan Gunam ) from VISIONLIFE INC,MISSISAUGA.

I happened to see the wonderful performance of your dance group on August 8th 2009 at the Roadshow held at Powertrade centre, Brampton. The children danced beautifully and their dance movements were graceful, elegant and perfect which expressed the rich tradition of Punjabi culture. I could feel the hardwork behind it to bring out the hidden talents of the children and also to retain and popularise the Rich old tradition, culture and art of Punjab through your dance programme. My sincere heartfelt appreciation to YOU and to YOUR DANCE GROUP and all others who are with you in your mission.

I also visited your website virasatpeace.org and appreciate the goodwork done through the website. Congratulations!!!We too in “VISIONLIFE INC” value and honour, the rich tradition, strength and protection of our loving family through our financial advice, insurance and investments.Best of Luck for all your visions in near future !!

On my recent visit to Canada, I had a chance to visit VIRASAT PEACE organization, when I was acting in play Banda Bahadur at their premises. First thing which impressed me was its environment. I felt as if I am in Punjab, There were Punjabi Folk musical instruments lying in the hall which are used by the students who attend the Virasat Academy for learning Punjabi Folk Dance forms such as Bhangra, Gidda, Jhoomer & Malwai Giddha etc. The director of the academy S. Gurminderpaul Lalli who is well trained in all Punjabi Folk forms was imparting training to students so that they are always linked to Punjab & Punjabiyat. In addition students are also trained in theatre. They are also given knowledge of the rich Punjabi Culture & Heritage. I wish Lalli ji every success in his endeavour, who while living in Canada has taken over the job of linking young generation to its rich roots.

Punjab has rich traditions of art and culture which could be spread by organizing culture events, by focusing attention on our rich heritage, making people aware of the wealth and magnificence of our art and culture.Virasat Entertainers (Regd.), a group dedicated to Punjabi folk music, Art & Crafts is really a hardworking group towards revival & promotion of the folk art activities in the youth. It gives me much pleasure that their mission is to motivate and divert the youth from indulging in drugs and intoxicants towards cultural events. I am also happy to learn that Virasat Entertainers (Regd.) is associated with NZCC, Department of Culture, Indian Council for Cultural Relations and has been participating in the cultural activities/events organized by the department. Now on the 18th death anniversary of S. Sobha Singh they are paying tribute to legend painter by organizing an exhibition of eminent painters of Punjab at Sheesh Mahal Patiala. I congratulate them and wish all success to the people connected with this venture. The NZCC will continue to extend co-operation to this organization when and where required.
